In January, 2021, Pompeo released a Xinjiang-related statement, viciously smearing China’s policy governing Xinjiang and grossly interfering in its internal affairs under the pretext of human rights. Over the past years, out of private political ends and ideological biases, some anti-China politicians plotted and implemented a series of frantic acts against China, neglecting the interests of both the Chinese and American people. It has severely undermined China’s fundamental interests, Chinese people’s feelings and Sino-US relations.

I am a native in Xinjiang, head of Hairbagh Township, Luntai County. Thanks to the good policies and cultivation of the Communist Party of China, I gradually became a state cadre and witnessed the earthshaking change in Xinjiang. In our township, the per capita income of inhabitants reached over RMB 20,000 yuan in 2020. With the improvement of plantation, animal husbandry and featured fruit industry, villagers’ pockets are better filled. Among them, in Kaxibixi Village, Reheman Reyimu was distributed 1 cow in 2018 and the livestock increases to 5 now; Sulaiman Aisa was delivered 12 sheep in 2019 and the livestock expands to 26 currently. They often smile gaily and thank the Communist Party for its good policies. Our township enjoys a very good public security. All the disputes can be solved effectively and lost things can be found back in time. Last year, a villager in our township forgot to lock the door of his sheepfold and more than 10 sheep were lost. The next day, on hearing about it, villagers volunteered to help him to find those sheep back, thus avoiding financial losses. At present, people are leading an increasingly good life. Rural poor people are free from worries over food and clothing and have access to compulsory education, basic medical services and safe housing. Basic old-age insurance and medical insurance have covered everybody in our township. In 2020, 53 sets of low-income housing and one 760-sq.m happiness courtyard were built in our township, thus the health care, elderly care and housing of the disadvantaged fully ensured.

A country makes a home and a home makes me. So long as we get united closely to uncover the truth, we will surely smash Pompeo’s dirty tricks.
