Recently, Pompeo fabricated the lie that Xinjiang committed “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” against Muslim Uyghur and other ethnic minorities regardless of facts. He wantonly slandered and smeared the Chinese government’s governance of Xinjiang, defamed the good conditions in Xinjiang and people’ s happy life, damaged its social stability and calumniated its human rights condition. What he did is wanton interference of China’s internal affairs and serious violation to international law and the fundamental guidelines of international relation. I am very indignant at it and firmly oppose to it.

Born and growing up in south Xinjiang, I am a Communist Party member and cadre of Uyghur background. I feel very lucky that my father sent me to the Chinese school since my kindergarten years to enable me to feel the charms of the Chinese culture and solidarity and harmony of the Chinese nation as a family. I sent my two sons to the Chinese school as well, which is my will and my children’s will. I live a very happy life today. As I get along very well with my classmates, colleagues, neighbors and friends,we communicate with each other, study, grow, work and live together as a family. During my growth, I have been conscious of the just and equal social atmosphere.I feel deeply that everyone has the equal chance regardless of his or her ethnic background. As long as one works hard, he or she enjoys broad chance of development.In other words, no lie will ever cover up the truth of social stability and development in Xinjiang and change the fact that people of all ethnicity in Xinjiang live a wonderful life.

Under the strong leadership the Central Committee of the Communist Party, people of all ethnicity in Xinjiang have got united and worked hard. As a result, social economic development and people’s livelihood in Xinjiang have witnessed unprecedented achievements and sense of attainment, happiness and security of people of all ethnicity has been enhanced. We hold firmly to maintain social harmony and stability based on the law and hold high the banner of socialist rule of law. Upholding the principle of fighting and preventing terrorism at the same time, the autonomous region has been taking aggressive action against violent terrorist crimes, and at the same time, addressing the problem at its source. It has been making every effort to protect the fundamental human rights of citizens from violation by terrorism and extremism. So far, there have been no violent or terrorist cases for consecutively more than 4 years and people’s expectation for security and stability over the years has been met. Two hundred and thirty thousands people of all ethnicity in Aktao County, including me, have felt deeply how hard-earned it is to enjoy today’s security and stability.

Since January 2019, over 100 foreign statesmen and journalists visited our county and I was in the reception team. Going into depth in the real situations in various places in Aktao County, they praised appreciatively achievements we made in Aktao and held that what we did was worth reference including anti-terrorism, de-radicalization, safeguarding citizens’ religious freedom, promotion of social economic development,improving livelihood and harmony and solidarity of ethnic groups.

At present, the stable and prosperous condition of Xinjiang is not to be slandered and defamed by Pompeo and the like. The 56 ethnic groups and 1.4 billion people of all ethnicity hold as closely as seeds of pomegranate, which will never be stopped by Pompeo and the like who are like a rash that attempts to do what is far beyond its ability!
