Recently, Mike Pompeo and Adrian Zenz once again wantonly attacked Chinese government’s policies in governing Xinjiang and attacked Xinjiang’s human rights business. These words fully reveal the true nature of these two, who are fond of confusing right and wrong, lying and making up rumors. As a person who was born and grew up here in Xinjiang, I am outrageous about their words. They two are just like two ridiculous clowns, who prefer to make irresponsible remarks casually and spreading lies and rumors. I want to stand up to reveal and refute them.

I was born in a village. With the care and attention from the Party and government, I received an excellent education and gradually become an official. My wife has been working in the education field for many years and my son also received an outstanding education from kindergarten to primary school and from secondary school to university. He is now working in one of the universities in Shanghai. My family is just like any ethnic family in Xinjiang, which is under the meticulous and careful attention and care from the wonderful policies from the Party and government. With excellent education resources, we are living a happy life now. With precise reason and judgment, I would like to say that our culture and education are protected to the utmost here in Xinjiang.

China is a unified country with many ethnic groups and all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are part of this big family. Culture of ethnic groups in Xinjiang is deeply rooted in the field of Chinese nation and it is one indispensable part of the whole Chinese culture. In Karamay, in libraries and bookstores there are specially arranged bookshelves that are put with books with ethnic languages. Newspapers publish news with ethnic languages and there are various ethnic language programs on TV. All ethnic groups sing and dance freely in the square, in the community activity room and on the stage. They sing such beautiful songs to praise our great country and our happy life.

Here, all children, either from local or from other places with their parents working here, enjoy free compulsory education as early as preschool age. All excellent education resources are allocated to every child. In 2020, Ministry of Education listed some national demonstration areas and demonstration schools for regular senior high school education and Karamay was one of them. Karamay was also the only city area that was listed in Xinjiang and Karamay No. 1 Middle School was listed as the demonstration school.

The culture in Xinjiang continues to prosper and the education quality continues to grow, which is a reflection of the prosperous development of society and economy in Xinjiang. We have so many happy memories to be recorded and written down. I often take photos and collect pictures of wonderful views in Xinjiang and Karamay. I also share them with friends and relatives in person or online. We share the happiness, warmth and sense of security in the big family and share the confidence, proud of being a Chinese. All these profound experience can only be felt and reflected heartily by all ethnic peoples living in Xinjiang.

Pompeo and Zenz tried to use the tricks of liar to instigate tension, confuse right and wrong and smear wantonly. Their evil purpose was to try to influence China by making up issues on Xinjiang. We will never allow this happen. Xinjiang people will never be tricked. Pompeo and Zenz have no right at all to smear our happy life here!
