Pompeo, the lying politician, went on with lying before leaving his office,slandering again that Xinjiang committed “genocide” and “crimes against humanity”against Muslim Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities. He intentionally defamed China’s efforts in de-radicalization and combating terrorism in the vain hope of disturbing the stable and harmonious social condition in Xinjiang. What he didn’t realize is that his lying has formed a strong contrast with the wonderful life of people of all ethnicity in Xinjiang. Pompeo’s rude interference with China’s internal affairs tramples international law and the fundamental guidelines of international relation, which arouses my strong indignation and firm opposition!

Being a native of Turpan, I, together with people around me have witnessed the great developments in Turpan over the years. We used to live in the adobe houses, drink water from small reservoirs and walk on unpaved roads. Now we live in the government-subsidized houses, drink convenient and safe tap water and walk on the clean and smooth paved roads. During the five years, we’ve stuck to “two worries and three guarantees” and “six precisions”, keeping working on poverty relief in industry, employment, education and medical sectors in sustained manner, and completing poverty relief task of the new era.The incidence rate of poverty decreases from 5.8% to zero in the city and per capita net income of poor households is over 10,000 yuan. As all the villages have access to hardened roads, buses,power electricity and optical fibre broadband, compulsory education in city and township, basic health care, safety in housing and water are all effectively safeguarded, people of all ethnicity are living a stable and harmonious happy life.

Xinjiang is China’s Xinjiang. The Uyghurs are a member of the big family of the Chinese nation. People of all ethnicity in Xinjiang instead of others and the reality of stability and peace in Xinjiang itself have a say concerning whether it is run smoothly or not. We believe that people of all ethnicity in Xinjiang are as determined to maintain national unity and ethnic solidarity as a rock on the road of progress.The pace of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is unstoppable. Under the leadership of China’s Communist Party, Xinjiang will see a wonderful tomorrow!
