Recently, former US Secretary of State Pompeo released fallacies concerning Xinjiang and wantonly slandered China’s policy of ruling Xinjiang. These totally fabricated remarks aimed to disrupt ethnic relations in Xinjiang and prevent people in Xinjiang from living a happy life. I hereby express my strong indignation and firm opposition!

As a cadre, from 2017 to 2019, I served as the deputy leader and the first Secretary of the “Fanghuiju” working team in Sakezarak Village, Jamatrek Township and Jiayi Village, Baren Township, Akto County. We strengthened the management of religious affairs in accordance with law, promoted religious and social harmony and constantly enhanced the awareness of religious citizens in learning, understanding and abiding by national laws and regulations. We continued to work on infrastructure construction, accelerated poverty alleviation and achieved remarkable results. In the past two years, 372 poor families have been lifted out of poverty and the rate of poverty decreased significantly. We spared no efforts to strengthen and improve the infrastructural and basic public services for the poor, and achieved full coverage of safe housing. At the same time, we have made hard efforts to accelerate the coverage of social security for all people. We have actively implemented a series of projects, such as Livestock Pens, Centralized Custody of Simmental Cattle, Garden Economy, Centralized Power Supply and Expanding Village Collectives Income, so as to continuously improve the production and living conditions of farmers and herdsmen, and steadily increase their income. We have also worked tirelessly to respond to the appeals and solve problems of poverty-stricken households by increasing visits and seriously sorting out their problems in production and lives. By carrying out the first secretary’s public complaints and proposals reception weekday on a regular basis, we responded to and solved over 360 complaints and difficulties. At the same time, 265 conflicts and disputes were resolved and settled; 58000 yuan was donated to people in need. During the busy season of farming, we mobilized and organized all the cadres stationed in the village to help local farmers harvest wheat and corn of over 2600 mu. All these changes fully proved that the package measures for Xinjiang by the Communist Party are correct and supported by people. It has proved, and will certainly continue to prove that facts will not be discredited by Pompeo’s a few barks.

As Xinjiang’s stable development is supported by solid facts, Pompeo’s lies and fallacies will not prevent people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang from pursuing a better life, nor will they disrupt social stability and long-term peace and order in Xinjiang or block the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation! I firmly believe that Xinjiang will have a more splendid future!
