Pompeo, the former US Secretary of State, spread “ridiculous fallacies” to the world at the end of his political life, staging the “last madness” of his career as a politician. Pompeo ignored the facts, fabricated lies, violently interfered in China’s internal affairs, slandered the human rights situation in Xinjiang, and maliciously attacked the Communist Party’s governance of Xinjiang in the new era to gain personal political capital and world attention. As a Uyghur Communist Party member and cadre who has been trained by the Party for many years, I firmly oppose Pompeo’s abominable words and deeds.

Everyone know very well that Pompeo, the notorious liar and cheater, is acting what he calls an “upright gentleman” on the international stage with groundless accusations and “double standards” of “deceiving the world”. Little did he know that he presented the world with an image of a doomsday clown. I want to tell him that any attempt to smear the Chinese government and hurt the Chinese people will count for nothing, which will surely be refuted and fought back by the Chinese people and even the people of the world!

In recent years, Aksu Prefecture has made great achievements in poverty alleviation by adhering to precise strategies and overcoming difficulties. A number of major infrastructure projects have been completed and put into operation, including the new terminal building of Aksu Railway Station, the T2 terminal of Aksu Airport, the North Outer Ring Road of Aksu City, the Textile Bridge, the Huaneng Yamansu Large Hydropower Station, and the Kuche-Aksu High-Voltage Transmission and Transformation Line. Full coverage of medical insurance in both urban and rural areas has been achieved, basically ensuring that minor illnesses can be treated in the town hospitals and major illnesses can be treated in county hospitals.

At the same time, the living conditions of all ethnic groups in Aksu Prefecture have also undergone tremendous changes. The adobe houses have become durable houses, cars have replaced the donkey-carts, e-commerce has entered the new countryside, and various policies have been adopted to benefit people.There are more ways to get rich, more money, more joy in people’s heart, and more hope in their life. Television sets, washing machines, refrigerators, computers, air conditioners and automobiles have become the standard for families. Safe drinking water, heating facilities, water-flush toilets and clean fuels have long been available to ordinary people of all ethnic groups. People of all ethnic groups have something to do, money to earn and hope for. People of all ethnic groups often say that the immensities of heaven and earth are not as great as the Party’s kindness.

Facts speak louder than words, and justice speaks for itself. People of all ethnic groups living in Xinjiang have the best say on the current human rights situation in Xinjiang. We don’t need Pompeo, the political liar, to tell us what to do. I firmly believe that any plot to sow discord between China’s ethnic groups or curb its development will eventually fail.
