Pompeo fabricated the Xinjiang-related fallacy and falsely accused the Xinjiang government of committing “crimes against humanity”and “genocide” against the Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities. This is totally groundless and calling white black. It is an attempt to undermine the stable development of Xinjiang and the socialist ethnic relations characterized by equality, unity, mutual assistance and harmony between people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and people of all ethnic groups in China. It is a vicious provocation to people of all ethnic groups in China and a provocation to China’s national sovereignty. As a Uyghur grassroots leader, I want to expose Pompeo’s ugly face through my own personal experience!

As a leading cadre of the National People’s Congress at the grassroots level, I am well aware that there are a considerable number of Uyghur deputies and women deputies to the people’s congresses, and the law clearly guarantees the right of women and ethnic minority deputies to participate in the deliberation and administration of state affairs. We supervise the effective implementation of various laws and regulations in accordance with the law, ensure that people of all ethnic groups, including the Uyghurs, enjoy policies that benefit people, such as education, medical care, and employment, and fully guarantee the freedom of religious belief of the Uyghurs. Deputies of ethnic minorities in various fields are regularly invited to participate in the work carried out by the National People’s Congress, and cadres and masses are well communicated with each other as a family. In recent years, under the care of the Party and the government, and with the support of the policy of aid to Xinjiang, the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have lived in peace and harmony, and have led a better and happier life.

I have gradually grown up from a rural child to a leading cadre under the care of the Party, and my wife also received a good education since childhood and is now a respected teacher. My two daughters enjoy free nine-year compulsory education, and my eldest daughter joined the army after graduating from college last year, realizing her dream of becoming a soldier. My family is the epitome of countless minority families who have enjoyed preferential policies from the Party and the country.

At present, Xinjiang is in the best period of development in its history. I am glad to live in the big family of the Chinese nation. We have witnessed the rapid development of our hometown and witnessed the prosperity and development of our country and the continuous rise of our country’s international standing. I am extremely proud of our strong motherland. Pompeo, I want to tell you that lies are always lies no matter how much they are told, and those who tell lies will only bring shame to themselves. They will not change the real Xinjiang and destroy our beautiful life.
