Early this year, Pompeo released a fallacy of “Xinjiang-related genocide and forced labor”, groundlessly attacked and smeared Xinjiang, fabricated the so-called “Xinjiang-related issues”, frantically concocted political lies and went to great length to mislead and poison international public opinion. He attempted to sow discord among all ethnic groups, undermine social stability and impede the development of Xinjiang. It is of vile nature and evil intention, grossly hurting the feelings of people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. Only the wearer knows whether the shoes suit his feet. Only people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are in the best position to tell whether it does a good job.

The cadres and general public of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have the true feelings of its accelerated social development. I am a Chinese and a native in Xinjiang as well. I grew up in the neighborhood where all ethnic groups lived in harmony, never feeling any difference in my life. I love my hometown and have witnessed the miracle that the Communist Party and government led the cadres and people of all ethnic groups to make a happy life. Both the improvement of people’s livelihood and substantial benefits enjoyed by them are unprecedented. In today’s Qiemo County, people’s pockets are better filled. There are much more substantial policies benefiting people including poverty alleviation, employment, education, health care and social security. Job opportunities and right to education are fully guaranteed. The balanced development of compulsory education is upgraded markedly. Rural kindergartens that are necessary and desired are built and all the children of preschool age are ensured to be admitted. No. 1 Middle School and No. 2 Primary School are newly set up. The environment of education has been further improved. People’s health conditions are enhanced continuously. All the township hospitals and village clinics are standardized comprehensively. Free health checkups for all benefit more than 50 thousand urban and rural residents. Serious infectious diseases and endemics are effectively controlled. Safety of People’s lives and health are protected substantially. The quality of people’s lives has been improved to the largest extent possible. For the convenience of such a remote area as Qiemo County, the Communist Party and government is building Hotan-Ruoqiang Railway, Ruoqiang-Minfeng Highway, Qiemo-Yuli Desert Highway, Dashimen Reservoir, a new airport and a new passenger station. A 1,539-km road network has been newly completed and a 215-km power grid has been ungraded in the rural area. 3,427 dilapidated bungalows have been included in shantytowns reconstruction. 314 million yuan has been invested in renovating the old water supply and drainage system and heating pipe network for 32.6 kms; 190 million yuan in the 1^st and 2^nd phases of renovations to rural living environment, ensuring comfortable housing for urban and rural residents; 89 million yuan in basically realizing the integration of urban and rural water supply, carrying out the rural drinking water safety project and resolving the issue of drinking water safety for 13 thousand inhabitants. Over the past three decades, the infrastructures of Qiemo County, urban and rural looks, and people’s living conditions have been enhanced historically. It is well known to each of us. Forgetting the past means betrayal. Good days are not offered by those terrorists, but by the Communist Party. People of all ethnic groups have the true feelings about it.

A lie repeated for one thousand times remains a lie. The good situation of stability and prosperity in Xinjiang will never be changed by Pompeo’s vilification. His monstrous lies reflect not only his own despicable character, but also his ill intention to interfere in China’s internal affairs. They cannot cheat people around the world and cover the truth of what is happening in Xinjiang. There is no better place than the dustbin of history for Pompeo and all his vicious lies. Thanks to the education and cultivation of the Party for many years, I have become a cadre at county level. I shoulder the greater responsibility of safeguarding national unity and ethnic solidarity. Now is the time to contribute to social stability and national peace. As I am a Communist Party member, my duty is to serve people wholeheartedly and try my best to do a great job. I firmly believe that with the leadership of CPC Central Committee, no lies can ever destroy the good situation of social stability in Xinjiang. No anti-force can ever block its advance.
