I am Alerken Tuohetahong born, living and working in Xinjiang. I have experienced and witnessed the ever increasing sense of attainment, happiness and security of people in Xinjiang. Pompeo made groundless accusations against the Chinese government’s Xinjiang policies and fabricated the sinister lies and made absurd remarks on Xinjiang-related issues, such as “forced labor”and genocide against Muslims and ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, once again disclosing his evil nature of telling lies without draft and acting madly without shame.

The place where I was born, Zhaosu County, Ili, is a small town inhabited by many ethnic groups with perfect social security system and full coverage of residents’ basic medical insurance and endowment insurance policies, such as annual free health check-ups and critical illness relief for people. It is very convenient to see doctor for the patients with chronic diseases holding their chronic disease cards. Consequently, the health rights of people of all ethnic groups have been guaranteed effectively.

The nine-year compulsory education is free here and children enjoy various national favorable education policies. It means they don’t have to spend money going to school. Nutritional meals between classes are provided to guarantee students’ nutrition in kindergarten, primary school and middle school. Meanwhile, Rain and Dew Project, Loess Project have been implemented to assist those who have been admitted to college to complete their studies. The government has established inland-middle-school and inland-high-school classes for Xinjiang’s students with advanced learning environment to help the students from minority areas receive better education, thus effectively protecting children’s right to education.

There are 2 or 3 children in each household. From the beginning of pregnancy, women receive eugenics knowledge, prenatal education, free pregnancy check-ups, and nutrition subsidies. The merry laughter of children of all ethnic groups can be heard everywhere and their happily-playing scenes can be seen both in the city and countryside.

The customs and traditions of people of all ethnic groups have been inherited in Zhaosu. Traditional cultural events,such as Girl Chasing, Meshrep, equestrian competition, wrestling, Aytes have been carried out often. The traditional ethnic festivals,such as the Naurez Festival, Corban Festival, and Eid al-Fitr are celebrated every year. People of all ethnic groups communicate with each other and express their best wishes to each other, forging a strong natural kinship.

All ethnic groups support and help each other, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. All ethnic groups encourage each other and hug each other. Whoever in trouble is given a helping hand, thus going through difficulties together.

There are numerous stories of development and changes, brotherhood and affections. Regardless of the fact of Xinjiang’s development, Pompeo told lies with ugliness and deceive people in a roguish way without bottom line and marked with hooliganism and shamelessness true to his credo “ We lied , we cheated, we stole.”
