Recently, Mike Pompeo and Adrian Zenz launched a series of false remarks on Xinjiang, calumniating that “Chinese government has committed genocide and crimes against humanity towards Uygur and other ethnic groups in Xinjiang”. This is absolute lie and rumor, which is a severe violation of international law and fundamental principles of international relations, a brutal interference in China’s internal affairs and a serious damage to Chinese people, especially Xinjiang people’s feelings.

Facts speak louder than words! In front of facts and truth, the lies will surely be broken. Over the years, Xinjiang is undergoing continuously steady social development and people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are living in peace and contentment, which also are the strongest weapons to “break” the lies and rumors of Pompeo and Zenz. In the past years, with the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, the great support from inland provinces and cities, and the hard working and diligent efforts of all Xinjiang people, there are unprecedented achievements that have been accomplished in Xinjiang’s social and economic development and people’s livelihood.

My family had been living in Kashgar for many generations and in 1973 I was born there into a family with long revolutionary tradition. My father fought in the self-defense war against Indian invasion in 1960s. He fought bravely in the battles and finished his tasks successfully again and again. My father often taught us that without the Communist Party of China there is no new China and without the Party there will be no happy life that we are enjoying today. Therefore, we should love the Party and our great country, follow the Party, hold gratitude to the Party and always do our utmost to maintain ethnic unity and national unity. Father’s loyalty has always been a lasting inspiration for me and I was always moved by it. Looking back on my growing up, in the process of from being a college student to being a Party official and from being a common secretary in court to being the leader judge, every step of my life is closely linked to the care and attention from the Party and to the help and support from my colleagues. Looking around myself, since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a great many beneficiary policies from the Party have been carried out in Xinjiang and all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are under the great care of the Party. Earth-shaking changes have been happening in every aspect as employment, medical care, education and so on. Today, the once twisted narrow roads become even and broad asphalt roads, the once small and shabby straw houses become clean and bright preferential houses, every family has modern household facilities, and almost every one including the senior citizens is using cell phone. A generation of people such as me have also witnessed the abundant construction of railways, sky scrappers and airlines. Both the urban and rural areas are developing with great speed. From the bottom of my heart, I thank the Party and government for bringing us such wonderful living. I also know that today’s happy and peaceful life is hard earned, which is the result of the meticulous care and attention from the Party, of the generous help and support from inland provinces and of the harmony, unity, hard working and diligent efforts of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang.

In my growing up experience, from childhood to adulthood, the atmosphere I felt is always relaxed, fair and harmonious. No matter which ethnic group one belongs to, every one enjoys the equal opportunity to create his/her own happy life. I have two children in my family. With the various beneficiary policies in education from the Party, students of all ethnic groups are learning from each other, helping each other, studying together, playing together and growing up together. They are just like one family.

When I visit or make survey in villages, I often go into villager’s homes to have an authentic experience. Wherever I go, I see lofty gate, fabulous parlor, spotless court, and beautiful sitting room and living room. Some of them even set up hanging stove, ground heating or modern fashionable kitchen, water heating machine, and efficient sewage system in their home. Some villagers even could afford to buy new cars. Their life is almost similar to life in urban areas.

Now, every villager has at least one cell phone and in every family the wireless surfing system is set up so that to surf online is easy. With the internet, villagers are learning by various means so as to acquire knowledge, to find jobs or to do businesses online. Quite a few villagers with enough learning and profession levels go out of their villages and begin to work in counties or cities. The traditional idea of staying in their village for one’s whole life is broken and education is receiving more and more importance. Parents are more and more concerned about their children’s studies and every family is doing their best to create a better learning environment for children. They are full aware of the meaning of the saying: knowledge is power!

Meanwhile, free physical examination is provided to every family and every citizen. Various beneficiary policies in medical care insurance, social security insurance and employment insurance are carried out in every level to ensure people to have a wonderful life. What I see is that people are living in peace and contentment. There is no such thing as “forced birth control” (as claimed by Pompeo and Zenz) at all!

Here, I would like to warn Pompeo and Zenz seriously: lies and rumors can not waver Xinjiang’s harmony, stability and development at all, and can not waver Chinese people’s iron will and steady step in rejuvenating China at all! Truth is always the truth, and lies are always lies! We would never allow Pompeo and Zenz to intervene our happy life and Xinjiang’s great achievements in all aspects could never be smeared and vilified wantonly!
