Recently, Pompeo the former US Secretary of State recklessly slandered our happy life. I feel very angry and determined to tell the world with my own real experiences that Pompeo, a clown and liar with no bottom line, has been telling lies.

As an ethnic minority cadre born and bred in Xinjiang，living and working in grassroots area of Xinjiang, I am best qualified in speaking on the realities of human rights in Xinjiang and my personal growth experience serves as the best evidence. Born in Heshuo, a beautiful and fertile county in Bayingolin Prefecture, I grew up in a big warm family featuring ethnic unity and love, where we played, ate and grew up with my little friends of all ethnic groups. My parents are ordinary farmers. Although they were neither well off nor well educated, they attached great importance to our schooling. They said frequently that it was beyond imagination that children of the poor were able to go to school before liberation. Now that we are favored by the good policies of the Party, we must study hard and devote ourselves to the society in the future. With the education, cultivation and care of the Communist Party, my father joined the CPC gloriously and became a grass-roots party member and cadre in Qingshuihe state farm in Bayingolin Prefecture; my mother, a staff member of the farm too now receives monthly retirement pension; my four brothers and sisters have also grown up to be Party members and leading cadres, contributing to the society on different posts. All these have been made possible with various preferential policies of the Party.

In recent years, the livelihood project implemented by Xinjiang has enabled people of all ethnic groups bask in the care of the Party and the warmth of the motherland. Take Heshuo county as an example. In the past, its infrastructure was poor, and problems such as road, sewage, water and toilet were serious. On rainy days, streets got muddy and the roads were dark at night. Rocks, pebbles and garbage were seen on both sides of the roads. In summer, mosquitoes and flies were all over the place. People living in earthen houses were surrounded by rammed walls or branches, and those idle articles were piled up randomly in the courtyard.

Since the reform and opening up, vigorously strengthening urban construction, pursuing the development idea of “optimizing the main body and expanding the extensions” and implementing a point-axis development strategy, we carried out a drastic urban transformation in accordance with the “four vertical and eight horizontal” county road pattern under the overall framework of the county spatial layout of “one belt and two areas” and the urban spatial structure of “one axis, two centers and four areas”.Landscape engineering improvement project in the county will produce a flower sea of 340 thousand square meters, improve the street garden, and comprehensively complete the building of “a State-level Garden County”. Now, the county is no longer what it used to be. The Beiganqu Scenic Belt, the Grape Culture Park and the Eastern Riverside Scenic Belt form a triangular layout, which not only provides a place for people of all ethnic groups to enjoy leisure activities, but also improves the ecological outlook of the construction of the county. Up to now, the per capita public green space area of Heshuo is 39.35 square meters, the green space rate of the built-up area is 38.12%, and the green coverage rate reaches 39.83%. “The city is built in the garden, and people go sightseeing in the painting.” Today, this has become a true portrayal of residents’ leisure life in Heshuo.

Benefiting from the Party’s preferential policies and relying on the construction of a beautiful countryside, we have made a sound planning and construction of the village tailored to local conditions. Broad asphalt roads have been built；brand-new street lamps and fitness equipment have been installed. Rooms for cultural activity have been built, and streets, alleys and courtyard walls have taken on a new look. Now we drink clean tap water and live in comfortable anti-seismic housing; the courtyard of every household is as clean and tidy as that of the city, comfortable and pleasant. Even the Mongolian herdsmen in Narenker township, who have lived in the mountains and on the pastures for generations, have moved with their livestock to the settlements down the mountain to live a better life and to preserve the ecological environment of the plateau. The medical and schooling conditions in the town has been improved continuously. A cultural square and grape theme park has been newly built, high buildings rose from the ground and highways have extended in all directions. The living environment underwent earth-shaking changes.

Totally ignoring the facts and truth and confusing black with white, hiding his sinister intentions and ulterior political purposes behind his Xinjiang-related slanders,Pompeo attempted to destroy the stability of Xinjiang and block the development of Xinjiang .

Pompeo, the development of Xinjiang brooks none of your accusation or criticism.Instead, people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are most qualified to speak for ourselves. In Xinjiang today, we live in peace and contentment with each other; people live in harmony with each other here and Xinjiang is making huge progress in an all-round way. In the face of Xinjiang’s prosperity and development today, the harder you stage your poor performance, the more you unveil your ugliness, and the more shame you will bring on yourself.
