Recently, Pompeo fabricated a fallacy about Xinjiang, claiming that China has committed “genocide” crime. He ignored the facts, attacked and smeared Xinjiang maliciously and groundlessly. His sinister intention was to stir up ethnic dissensions and disrupt the development of Xinjiang. I strongly condemn and firmly oppose it.

I am glad that I am a Chinese citizen, and I am proud of the strength of our motherland. I was born in a worker’s family in Yuli County, Xinjiang. Five children in our family graduated from university successively, working hard and living happily in their respective jobs. The highway from Urumqi to Yuli under construction is about to open. It’s less than an hour’s journey from the county to Korla airport. Although I have been away from my hometown and worked in Korla for many years, the great changes in my hometown over the years arouse grateful feeling in my heart for the great Communist Party of China every moment.

Born and raised up in Xinjiang, I have been working hard and grown up into an official of ethnic groups thanks to the cultivation of the Party and the support and help of comrades from all ethnic groups. As a native of Xinjiang, I have the most say about the human right situation in Xinjiang. I was admitted to university in 1988. In 1992, I began my professional career and obtained a postgraduate degree in 2011. From April 2016 to January 2017, I was also selected to work in Hebei Province to learn the advanced management experience of the inland. Every step of my growth has been benefited from the care and cultivation of the Party, and it is also a microcosm of Xinjiang’s economic and social development. In Xinjiang, there are thousands of civil workers of ethnic groups like me who have grown up from an ordinary family. They all live happily on this beautiful land and contribute to the construction of a beautiful home in Xinjiang. Bayingolin Vocational and Technical College, where I used to work, with the strong support of the national education policy, allows students from all over Xinjiang, especially from poor areas, to enjoy national scholarships, grants and free tuition, so that they can complete their studies free of charge. Through their learning, they have mastered various production technologies, such as automobile repair, cooking, petrochemical technology and so on. they have successfully changed their destiny with the help of national educational policy.

My two children, one in college and the other in junior high school, both of them have enjoyed the national compulsory education policy. The eldest son, Warisijiang Abulizi, was once a junior high school student in Xinjiang. After receiving a good education, he is now studying in Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, enjoying Shanghai’s high-quality educational resources with other inland students. He often said to me: “Dad, the conditions of the university are very good. The university is very concerned about students of ethnic groups. All the students and teachers live in harmony like a family.” Over the years, with the support of the Party and the government, countless students of ethnic groups from Xinjiang have directly gone to university after receiving junior high school education in developed provinces and cities in the inland provinces. Nowadays, many of them have graduated and become the backbone of Xinjiang’s economic and social development.

Now, whether in Korla City or in the countryside of my hometown Yuli County, people of all ethnic groups live and work in peace and contentment. Full coverage has been achieved in terms of compulsory education and urban-rural integrated medical security, and people’s life is prosperous. My personal experience is a solid fact. Facts speak louder than words, and justice is in the heart of the people. Pompeo’s fallacy of so-called “genocide” and “crimes against humanity" can not stand scrutiny in face of these facts. They are pure nonsense.

In today’s Xinjiang, all the places around Tianshan Mountains show a good picture of political harmony, social stability and prosperity. Pompeo’s ignorant remarks can not hinder the pace of unity and progress of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. We will use irrefutable facts and the fruits of unity and social stability to completely smash Pompeo’s fallacy concerning Xinjiang.
