Recently, Pompeo published fallacies concerning Xinjiang, wantonly slandered China's policy of ruling Xinjiang, and madly attacked and discredited Xinjiang. This is a gross interference in China’s internal affairs and a serious violation of international law and the basic norms of international relations. As an official of ethnic minorities growing up under the care and cultivation of the Party, I express my strong indignation and resolute opposition to Pompeo!

Pompeo’s smear and attack on Xinjiang is totally fabricated and made out of nothing. The purpose is to stir up ethnic dissensions in Xinjiang and prevent the people of Xinjiang from living a good life. His intention is extremely sinister.

On the issue of Xinjiang, the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have the most say. For a period of time, Xinjiang was deeply affected by the “three forces”, and violent terrorist cases occurred frequently, which caused great harm to the life and property safety of people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. Facing the realistic threat of terrorism and extremism, Xinjiang launched the anti-terrorism and de-radicalization combat according to law, which effectively guaranteed the security and stability of Xinjiang and the life safety of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. In the past four years, there have been no violent terrorist cases in Xinjiang. Practice has proved that these measures are in line with the reality of Xinjiang, and have maximally guaranteed the people’s right to survival and development.

I was born in a red revolutionary family and grew up in Xinjiang. Since childhood, I have seen the happy life of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, and I have felt the enthusiasm and witnessed the mutual help among the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. We live happily here. I have classmates, colleagues, neighbors and friends of all ethnic groups. We learn, grow and live together. My father joined the army under the leadership of the Party, grew up in the army and made contributions to the revolutionary cause in Xinjiang. Under the education and influence of my father, I joined the army and the Party in my youth. My comrades in the army came from all ethnic groups and all over the country. In my own growing up experience, I have always felt a relaxed and fair social atmosphere. Regardless of ethnic background, everyone has the same opportunities, and everyone has the opportunity to create happiness for themselves.

Pompeo slandered China’s policy of ruling Xinjiang and attacked human right situation in Xinjiang. In fact, people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are living better and better. The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress have always insisted on carrying out research on people’s livelihood, and have learned about the participation of people of all ethnic groups in vocational skill training, factory employment, and their work treatment according to law. We can see that the human rights of the people of all ethnic groups are protected in accordance with the law, labor remuneration and various welfare benefits are enjoyed in accordance with the law, and the happiness index of the people of all ethnic groups is on the rise.

Every year, the Standing Committee of the National People’s congress carries out law enforcement inspection on the work of medical and health care, social security, health examination and other work, and investigate the implementation of policies of religious belief, social security, health examination and so on. We can see that the freedom of religious belief of the people of all ethnic groups is fully respected and protected, the social security system is becoming more and more perfect, all the people actively participate in health examination, and the excellent culture of ethnic minorities is also fully developed with full respect and good inheritance.

Justice lies in the heart of the people. Slander can not stop the pace of unity and progress of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. Rumors can not deceive the industrious and intelligent people of Xinjiang. Lies can not erase the development and progress of various undertakings in Xinjiang. Pompeo will only find that his fingers will be burned by the fire set by himself and that he will become a laughing stock in history!
