Days ago, Pompeo issued the so-called “Xinjiang related statement”, ignoring the facts, attacking and deliberately discrediting the Chinese government’s policy of governing Xinjiang, and deliberately undermined the social stability and ethnic unity in Xinjiang. What Pompeo said is a complete lie. We have the most say about our own life. We firmly oppose anyone who is undermining the social stability of Xinjiang in any form.

At present, the overall situation of Xinjiang society continues to be harmonious and stable, and it is safe to go anywhere, which maximally guarantees the basic rights of the people of all ethnic groups, such as the right to survival and development. It is just because of such a good environment that the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang can unite as one, continue to build our beautiful hometown and live the beautiful life we want. Taking my personal experience as an example, I was born in Yiwu County, Hami, Xinjiang. I get along with my colleagues, friends and neighbors of all ethnic groups as if they were my family. We usually have no scruples when we communicate with each other. The people of all ethnic groups live a very happy and harmonious life. Now the five children in my family have developed into the leadership step by step under the party’s careful education and cultivation, and voluntarily joined the Communist Party of China. For this reason, my brothers and sisters are very proud, because we know very well that without the leadership of the Communist Party of China, we can’t have a good life now.

I am now engaged in the work of foreign affairs. We are closely centering on the goal of building a better-off society in an all-round way, giving full play to the functions of foreign affairs departments, and constantly strengthening exchanges and cooperation with foreign countries along the border, and therefore actively push forward the participation of our city into the construction of “Road and Belt”. In cooperation with the commercial department, we have organized our ethnic enterprises in our city to go out to visit and investigate, so that our ethnic embroidery and other products can be exported to foreign countries. We continue to show our care to the returned overseas Chinese in poverty and their family members and send them the warmth of the Party and the government. In the past five years, we have carried out annual visits and condolence to the poor returned overseas Chinese and their family members of all ethnic groups. We have helped the poor returned overseas Chinese and their family members to achieve stable employment and successfully get rid of poverty. The implementation of poverty alleviation projects for overseas Chinese has helped the poor returned overseas Chinese and their family members embark on the road of self-development and entrepreneurship. At the same time, we also have actively carried out vocational skill training, free medical treatment, overseas Chinese law publicity and other services, which have benefited the returned overseas Chinese, their family members, farmers and herdsmen.

As we all know, the changes in Xinjiang are great, and the life of people of all ethnic groups is thriving. However, Pompeo has never stopped discrediting our policy of ruling Xinjiang. Their so-called “genocide” is sheer nonsense and another ridiculous farce of slandering and discrediting China. They do not want to see a united and stable Xinjiang, let alone an increasingly powerful China. The masses of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have long recognized Pompeo’s ugly nature. I would like to say to him, please stop using Xinjiang related issues to interfere in China’s internal affairs, because it is futile. No lie can stop us from moving forward. Social stability and long-term security in Xinjiang will surely be realized!
