Asanjan, Vice President of the People’s Hospital in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture

Pompeo and Adrian Zenz confounded right and wrong, black and white. They maliciously defamed the human-right condition of Xinjiang, China. In addition, they blackened the good and hard-won situation of a stable, united and prosperous Xinjiang. Their fundamental purpose was to break Xinjiang’s stability and to stagnate its development, which is as clear as if it were exposed to view. Confronted with their contemptible statements and actions as well as continuous lies, I, a member of the ethnic minorities and a leader of the cadres, show my intense denunciation and strong resistance towards their ugly acts.

As a medical worker, I have experienced personally and witnessed the dramatic changes occurred in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in recent years. I became a doctor as soon as I graduated from college, and now I've grown into an orthopedic chief physician and an administrator of the hospital where I’ve been working. What is fortunate is that I had the chance to further my study as a doctor of management in a prominent university lately. My kids have received good education since they were young. And the eldest kid was admitted by a prestigious university after four-year education in the inland high school for Xinjiang students. On the other hand, most of the poor families in a farming team where I used to work have got rid of poverty with their wider income channels and thicker wallets. Many households have moved into their larger and brighter new homes, and are in search of a happier and higher-qualified life. Children of the farmers and villagers are receiving a better and more qualified education, with some of them receiving high-school or college education in the inland areas. What impressed me deeply is the development of public health undertakings in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture. The construction of medical health system is greatly improved, which helps provide a more qualified, more efficient and safer health service for people from all ethnic groups; now people can see a doctor and receive medical advice within a few blocks; the full coverage of medical security system can relieve the citizens of worries about “poverty resulted from illness” and “poverty again due to illness”; Numerous people in the rural areas are capable of understanding diseases and health problems in a more rational and scientific way while discarding superstitious beliefs and ignorance. They are searching for a healthier lifestyle and better physical fitness. Action speaks louder than words. Aren’t the examples above the very benefits brought to us all by the stability and economic development of Xinjiang?

Never will lies triumph over the truth. Pompeo and Adrian Zenz only invited humiliation with their dirty tricks. No lies whatsoever aiming at blackening can stop the steadfast steps of Xinjiang people who strive to move forward. Under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, Xinjiang people from all ethnic groups have unswerving determination to protect our national sovereignty and the development interests. Xinjiang is sure to have a better tomorrow!
