Pompeo's lies about Xinjiang, ignoring the facts and deliberately discrediting the good situation in Xinjiang and the happy life of the people of all ethnic groups, is a gross interference in China's internal affairs and a serious violation of the basic norms of international law and international relations. Its nature is extremely evil and its intention is very sinister. Its fundamental purpose is to destroy the prosperity and stability of Xinjiang and obstruct the historical process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. I strongly condemn and firmly oppose this!

I was born and grew up after the foundation of People’s Republic of China and educated by the Party all across my life for more than 40 years. I have witnessed the great changes in economy, society, culture, education and transportation in Hotan Prefecture in recent years. For poverty alleviation, it is priority for Hotan to send labor force to other area as the key point to increase income of farmers and herdsmen, and makes great efforts in propaganda and guidance, so that a large number of farmers and herdsmen go out of their homes and get rich through employment in other area. "One person employed in other area makes the whole family get rich" has become the consensus of the masses of all ethnic groups, and income from being employed accounts for 30% and more of the annual net income per capita of farmers and herdsmen, which has become a key industry to get rid of poverty and become rich.

In Hotan, we walk on wide and smooth asphalt roads, live in safe and comfortable houses, eat clear and sweet tap water, use clean and cheap natural gas, drive fast and comfortable cars, grow state subsidized rich fields, attend free schools, and are given a national physical examination every year. Urban and rural residents over the age of 60 can enjoy the national pension policy; people with family difficulties can enjoy the basic pension insurance payment policy. Compared with the life before, it's a big difference! We must be aware that there are still many poor areas in mainland provinces and cities. How can there be so many policies to benefit all the people in and out of Xinjiang at the same time? Some ordinary people in other provinces outside Xinjiang have yet not lived in safe houses, drink tap water and walk on asphalt roads.

Despite of this, Pompeo still criticized China crazily. I want to ask Pompeo that have you seen it with your own eyes? Have you ever been to Xinjiang? Our life here is peaceful, free, peaceful and happy. Our country provides 15 years of free education for the minority people in Xinjiang, so that we can all afford to go to school and receive higher education. Is this “deprivation of rights” you refer to? The local social stability takes on new aspect of unity in the people's livelihood. The masses go outside Xinjiang for employment to "enrich the countryside and revitalize the countryside". Is this “forced labor” you refer?

Here we warn Pompeo that the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang firmly support the leadership of the Party, and it is believed that all speeches and deeds that attempt to use human rights and other pretexts to interfere in and obstruct the development of Xinjiang will not succeed, and that any attempt to alienate our ethnic relations and curb the development of our country is doomed to failure and will eventually become a joke in history.
