Over a period of time, Pompeo and Adrian Zenz have repeatedly spread fallacies concerning China and Xinjiang, falsely claiming that China’s policy towards Xinjiang Uygur Muslims and ethnic minorities constitutes “crimes against humanity” and “genocide”. I firmly oppose and strongly condemn it.

In my opinion, the so-called “genocide” by Pompeo and Adrian Zenz is pure nonsense. It is an ugly political conspiracy of Pompeo. It has never happened in the past, does not happen now, and will not happen in China in the future! Xinjiang’s development and human right cause should not be maliciously slandered by anyone. We people in Xinjiang have the most say about it.

I was born in Xinjiang and grew up in Xinjiang in the warmth and grace of the CPC. As an official born in 1970s of last century, I have witnessed the changes of Xinjiang since the reform and opening up, and have felt the concern of the CPC Central Committee for ethnic groups in Xinjiang. I lived in an ethnic unity courtyard in Hami City when I was a child. My neighbors were from many ethnic groups, including Uygur, Han, Kazakh and Hui. We had a very harmonious relationship. We learned, celebrated festivals and and grew together.

When I was a child, my parents were busy with their work. Children of the same age formed study groups to help each other and made progress together. They were like brothers and sisters. Now, I have friends, classmates and colleagues from all ethnic groups. We work and live together. In our work and life, we are united and harmonious, like one family, and have developed deep feelings for each other. I feel that we are living in very relaxed and just social atmosphere. Regardless of ethnicity, everyone has the same opportunities. I live a happy life. My wife has retired and lives a colorful retirement life every day. I have two children. My eldest son is studying in Beijing University of technology, and my youngest son is studying in Hami No.5 primary school. They are both growing up under the Party’s education policy of benefiting the people. Now they are well educated, and have a bright future. Is this what Pompeo and Adrian Zenz call “genocide”?

Over the years, I have studied hard and worked hard. Under the cultivation of the Party, my efforts have been rewarded, my achievements have been recognized by the department where I have worked, and my career has won people’s respect. Now, I have become a leading official at the county level. I will devote myself to the work and work hard for the cause of the Party’s workers’ movement to repay the Party’s kindness to me.

As a bridge and link between the Party and the State and the masses of workers, in recent years, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions has actively safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of workers of all ethnic groups, actively organized the masses of workers to participate in the democratic management and supervision of enterprises, and safeguarded their own rights and interests from the source by improving the open and democratic management. At the same time, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions also continues to care for the workers of ethnic minorities.

Over the years, 110 ethnic minority model workers and excellent workers at all levels have been selected, accounting for 25% of the total number of model workers and excellent workers in the city. 88 registered ethnic minority workers with financial difficulties have been lifted out of poverty through the methods of student assistance, medical treatment, vocational training and employment aids. Only during the New Year’s day and the Spring Festival in 2021, the trade unions at all levels of Hami visited more than 30 enterprises and departments at the grass-roots level, and epidemic prevention and control spots, and paid a visit to the poverty-stricken workers of all ethnic groups and front line workers, 4340 in total, having distributed gifts of 600, 000 yuan. These are all reflections that the state attaches great importance to the work of Xinjiang and shows the concern and care for the workers of all ethnic groups, including the workers of ethnic minorities.

I firmly believe that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, we will unite as one, work together for common prosperity and development, and create a better and happy life. The political lies of Pompeo and Adrian Zenz will be laid bare, and their despicable acts will not succeed. Eventually, they will become street mice and everyone will beat them.
