I am extremely indignant and dissatisfied with Pompeo and Adrian Zenz for their untrue remarks of attacking and smearing Xinjiang. Pompeo and his likes fabricated all kinds of lies including Xinjiang related issues, attacking and deliberately discrediting Xinjiang groundlessly. They incited hatred and attacked Xinjiang madly. This is a great insult to the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, and also a betrayal and challenge to international morality and basic conscience. As an ethnic minority judge and a party member, I express my strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition to their despicable behaviors and sinister intentions!

Actions speak louder than words. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Xinjiang has always insisted on holding high the banner of the rule of law, adhering to the concept of people first and the principle of equality of all ethnic groups. Xinjiang has made unprecedented achievements in economic and social development, improvement of people’s livelihood, and protection of human rights. All the places around Tianshan Mountains present a good situation of social stability, economic prosperity, and people living and working in peace and contentment. It is obvious to all the world that Pompeo and Adrian Zenz have ignored the facts and slandered Xinjiang at will.

Born in a pastoral area and the son of a herdsman, I have grown into a judge under the care and grace of the Party and the government. In the 30 years of judicial career, I have personally experienced the development, construction and reform of Xinjiang, and witnessed the process of the construction of the rule of law in Xinjiang, and have seen the development and changes of the people of all ethnic groups in the process of the rule of law in Xinjiang.

As an senior judge and a native Kazakh born in Barkol, I have visited 15 towns and townships covering an area of 38, 400 square kilometers of the county since the beginning of my career. I have conducted 435 tour trials on gobi and grassland area. I have chaired and participated more than 3000 civil and commercial cases, among which mediation and withdrawal rate have reached 94% and the implementation rate is over 95%. No case that I have handled exceeds the limit of trial and no litigation is involved in petition. My tour court and I have become a beautiful scenery on the grassland of Barkol. The tour court has also become a highlight of the trial work of the people’s Court of Barkol County. I am honored to be called “judge on horseback” by farmers and herdsmen on the grassland. I am also honored to be able to provide legal services for the masses of all ethnic groups and fully guarantee the legal rights and interests of the masses of all ethnic groups, and enable all ethnic groups to enjoy fairness and justice. In addition to my personal efforts, the attention and support from the Party and government is inseparable from the good situation that the legal rights and interests of the masses of all ethnic groups are fully guaranteed. What Pompeo and Adrian Zenz say about “ethnic minorities are being suppressed” can be found nowhere in Xinjiang. Their lies can not stand any scrutiny.

As an ordinary judge working hard at the grass-roots, I have only done some insignificant work that I can during my 30 years of career, but the Party and the State have given me high honor. I have been awarded the honor including national model individual of ethnic unity and progress, national excellent judge, excellent Party member of national political and legal system. I am the winner of national labor medal of May 1, excellent Party member of Xinjjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, top ten figures touching Xinjiang and the most beautiful grass-roots judge in Xinjiang and so on. In 2020, I was also awarded the prize of the national advanced worker by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. I know these achievements cannot be separated from the care and cultivation of the Party. I have not only been recognized by my colleagues, but also praised by the people of all ethnic groups, which provides me with a rich life and sense of accomplishment and happiness.

Lies can not replace truth, and justice is in the hearts of every Xinjiang person. As one of the officials of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, my case is a direct refutation to Pompeo and Adrian Zenz, and a counterattack to their ridiculous slanders. Pompeo and Adrian Zenz can not have any popularity for their criminal acts and shameful lies. They will be strongly condemned by international public opinion and will be brought to the trial of morality, history, law and justice!
