Since the first central symposium on work related to Xinjiang was held, Xinjiang has entered a period of rapid development in economy and society. Urban and rural constructions are advancing swiftly and vigorously, people’s livelihood projects are well implemented, benefiting the people of all ethnic groups. However, hostile forces in and outside China want to see neither a strong and prosperous China, nor a happy life for the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. Recently, Pompeo claimed so-called “genocide” in Xinjiang, aiming to slander China, which is a staged farce.

As a member of the CPC and a minority cadre with nearly 40 years of working experience, I should not hesitate to step forward to tell our cadres and the people of all ethnic groups to recognize Pompeo’s fallacy of “genocide” through my work experience, what I have seen and thought: I was born and have lived in Xinjiang, I grew up in an army compound, a multi-ethnic neighborhood, in which there are Han, Hui, Uygur, Kazakh and other ethnic groups who have been living in harmony and enjoying equal education.

Since my childhood, I have received the advanced education of the Party, and from the words and deeds of my parents, I understood that without the Communist Party, there would be no New China, so I aspired to join the Communist Party of China from an early age. I was admitted to the military academy in 1981. In 1985 I became a member of the CPC with honor, remaining true to original aspiration and keeping mission firmly in mind, I have always been strict with myself as an outstanding Party member, working actively, dedicating bravely, and serving the people and finally I win the support of my colleagues and the people of all ethnic groups.

In 2016, I came to Yamarik Mountain. I have witnessed the great improvements of Yamarik Mountain over the past 10 years. We all know that more than a decade ago Yamarik Mountain was a synonym for a messy land. Through the efforts of cadres and people of all ethnic groups for many years, the famous Yamarik Mountain Park has now been built, “Green Lung” of Urumqi, which is a residential area with orderly buildings. The residents of all ethnic groups in Yamarik Mountain also took advantage of the project “old urban area transformation”, moving from the shabby caves and bungalows by the hillside, which were low-lying, damp, and not connected to electricity, tap water and roadway, to spacious and bright buildings where they are living a happy life with the infrastructure constantly improved and living environment steadily beautified.

Over the years, the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have lived in harmony and jointly built our homeland. Ethnic unity is always the main stream of Chinese nation for we are a big family, anyone who is going to commit splittism or sabotage at any time will find no support. It is an irrefutable truth that unity and stability are a blessing while secession and riots are a scourge. Social stability and prosperity are the common wishes of the people of all ethnic groups throughout Xinjiang. As a Chinese, I am extremely proud of the development and progress of Xinjiang, so I am so indignant at what Pompeo said and did. The prosperity and stability of Xinjiang won’t be changed by Pompeo’s lies, and I firmly believe that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Xinjiang's future will be brighter!
