Pompeo and Adrian Zenz constantly spread rumors, wantonly discredited Xinjiang, slandered China's ethnic and religious policies in Xinjiang, and provoked ethnic relations in Xinjiang. This kind of sinister intentions is obvious. As a Uygur cadre born and raised in Xinjiang, and as a journalist, I will use my own experience to nail Pompeo's shameless lies.

I was born in a courtyard with ethnic groups including Han, Uygur, Kirgiz and Hui. I ate the same pancake with other children of all ethnic groups. We drank water from the same bowl when we grow up. We have never alienated each other because of the differences in the habits of different nationalities. We would lie on the ground in the courtyard, eat from the same table, play in the same garden. These are my childhood memories. My father taught us since childhood that it was the Communist Party of China that made us Uygur people turn to be the masters and live a good life now. We should feel grateful to the Party and repay the Party. As a simple rural child, with the care from the Party and the country, I have received a good education so I can grow up into a leading cadre step by step.

In many years of my journalist career, I have been interviewing the grassroots farmers and herdsmen many times. I have collected and written nearly 100 texts and picture reports around the themes of the target poverty alleviation, national unity and rural revitalization. During this period, I witnessed the great changes that have taken place in our prefecture and even Xinjiang. What I see and hear is totally different from the fallacy from Pompeo and Adrian Zenz about Xinjiang! As a participant, witness and beneficiary of Xinjiang's stable development, I have the responsibility to tell the truth. At present, Xinjiang is in the best period of opening up, development and construction. People of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang fully enjoy human rights, and all ethnic groups are prosperous, and they developed and made progress together. The countryside has changed from old to new. The dirt roads have been turned into a neat and spacious cement road. The farmers moved from the small, shabby adobe house to the neat and beautiful house. The quality of life of farmers and herdsmen of all ethnic groups has been greatly improved. At present, the spiritual state of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang is very exhilarating. The relationship and communication among different nationalities are also becoming more and more close and frequent. We love to communicate with each other, and we just like family. We work together, pursue a better and happy life.

Kizilsu Daily was founded in 1957. We publish newspapers in Chinese, Uygur and Kirgiz. With the joint efforts of colleagues of Han, Uygur and Kirgiz, the newspapers in three languages were published simultaneously. At the same time, compatriots of all nationalities in the prefecture can learn from the newspapers about the policies of the party and the government which benefit the people. Over the years, the audience of Kizilsu Daily has spread all over the prefecture. All these confirm that the Chinese government has always protected the right of all ethnic groups to use and develop their own languages and characters with law.

"Whether the shoes fit or not, only the wearer know." On the issue of human rights of the Uygur people, all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are best qualified to speak. Pompeo and Adrian Zenz ignored the facts, lied and confused right and wrong. My living experience is enough to prove that what Pompeo and Adrian Zenz said is all lies. All kinds of lies and rumors spread by Pompeo and Adrian Zenz will be swept into the rubbish dump of history with the liars.
