Remarks of Mike Pompeo and Adrian Zenz reversed black and white, confused right and wrong, and smeared the sound situation of Xinjiang and the happy life of the people of all ethnic groups. Their ulterior purpose was to destroy the stability, hinder the development of Xinjiang, and carry out gross interference in China’s internal affairs, a malicious provocation to 1.4 billion Chinese people. As a Party official of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, I must express my strong condemnation and resolute opposition to Pompeo and Adrian Zenz’s habitual lies and shameless behavior.

I am a native of Xinjiang. As the head of the management committee of Heijiashan Sub-district of Tianshan District in Urumqi, I gained full appreciation of people’s aspirations through in-depth grass-roots investigation and helped build an effective service platform for the people of the area, which greatly promoted exchanges between different ethnic groups. Every year, various social assistance funds of living, medical care, education and heating are distributed to the impoverished people in the jurisdiction. Vocational training is held many times, and recruitment meetings are held to promote the employment opportunities for college graduates. The entry rate of community registration is 100%, and the resettlement rate is 95%. Environmental protection works were carried out in our jurisdiction to ensure the hygiene of the whole area from residents courtyard to the avenue and allies.

Over the years, Heijiashan Sub-district has undergone earth-shaking changes: the high rises brought about by shantytown renovation project, the continuous improvement in environment, the rapid development of urban construction, the comprehensive progress of social undertakings. National unity is becoming increasingly solid, people of all ethnic groups are living in harmony and stability. Together, we have witnessed the development in the area and people’s happiness index is rising.

My working experiences at grassroots level over the past decades enabled me to be a participant, witness and beneficiary of Xinjiang’s stable development. Remarks of Pompeo and Adrian Zenz are nothing but pure nonsense fabricated by their fantasy, revealing their despicable intentions completely. Xinjiang is China’s Xinjiang, people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are determined to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, and are resolute to maintain Xinjiang’s development, stability and national unity. Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, we are more confident, determined and committed than ever to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Any plot to curb China’s development will never succeed. Any plot to undermine the prosperity and stability of Xinjiang is doomed to fail!
