The “biggest lies of the century” made by Mike Pompeo and Adrian Zenz claimed that China committed “genocide”and “crimes against humanity” targeted at Uygur Muslims and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang. This baseless accusation was completely calling black white and a deliberate smear, which hurt the sentiments of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang greatly. I must express my firm opposition and strong condemnation towards their unjust deeds.

As a native of Xinjiang, I will illustrate my point with practical examples that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Xinjiang’s economic and social development is increasingly getting better. I was born in an ordinary family and my parents were members of the Communist Party of China. Therefore, during my upbringing I was under the education of the Party. My mom is benevolent and tolerant, teaching me a lot of common sense and the morality of being a decent human. I was edified by my father’s modest and rigorous working style since childhood. When I was young, my parents and grandparents told me many stories about the great changes in Xinjiang since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. I felt extremely proud whenever I heard the national anthem ringing and saw the national flag flying,

At the beginning of my career, people in rural areas were still living in clay made houses. And the roads were unpaved. Villagers would have mud on both feet in rainy days and ash in sunny days. Very few people chose to go out for employment, and the incidence of rural poverty was high. Since the 2^nd Xinjiang Work Symposium of the CPC Central Committee, unprecedented achievements have been made in Xinjiang’s development with improvement of livelihood and increase of income for farmers and herdsmen and the implementation of various policies benefiting the people. Farmers now live in newly built houses and the road are paved. More people are going out to work. The sense of gain, happiness and security of the people of all ethnic groups are increasing. Facts have proven that a series of stabilizing policies implemented in Xinjiang are supported by the people and the Party’s governing strategy in the new era is completely correct.To implement the Party’s governing strategy of Xinjiang in the new era fully and accurately, we Uygur Party members and cadres should take the lead in practicing loyalty to the Party, maintaining the dignity of the Party, and safeguarding the peace of the motherland. On the journey of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we should resolutely oppose separatism, firmly safeguard national unity, and resolutely fight against any act that undermines the reunification of the motherland and undermines national interests.

Here, I must warn Pompeo and Adrian Zenz that you cannot represent the people of Xinjiang, nor can you represent the Chinese people, let alone the right or qualification to comment on and interfere with Xinjiang’s affairs. I firmly believe that with the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the great unity of the people of all ethnic groups, any criminal act will be doomed to fail, and the future of Xinjiang will be more prosperous!
