Little ringed plovers play at the wetland in Qapqal, China’s Xinjiang

Recently, bird-watching lovers were surprised by the appearance of some little ringed plovers at the Qapqal Ili River National Wetland Park in Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County of Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang. Flying freely, playing and foraging on rivers and among reeds, these small and swift birds bring a lot of fun to people.

In recent years, Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County has been continuously strengthening efforts to protect the wetland, the ecological environment has improved significantly. Resources of animal and plant have become rich and diverse at the Qapqal Ili River National Wetland Park.
