Wetland birds dance and play in Yumin County, China’s Xinjiang

In early summer, migrant birds such as egrets and saunders’ gull dance and play at the Kulustai Grassland Wetland in Yumin County of Tacheng Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang, making an ecological picture scroll with harmony and beauty of horses, cattle and sheep on the grassland.

The Kulustai Grassland Wetland is a seasonal wetland, about 2 kilometers wide and about 20 kilometers long. The winding Emin River passes through the wetland with plenty water and lush grass. Walking along the edge of the wetland, beautiful scenes are formed by exquisite lakes with swimming fish, surrounded by reeds, and migrant birds such as wild geese, wild ducks now, and spring pools and streams with dwelling horses, cattle, sheep and birds aside then.
