"It's because of love that I chose to settle down in Urumqi," said a Pakistani man living in the far western Chinese region of Xinjiang.
Asim Muhammad fell in love with a woman he met while traveling in Xinjiang around 30 years ago.
He then got married with the Uygur girl and settled there.
Over their 28 years of marriage, the couple have traveled extensively in countries like the U.S., France, Turkey and Canada.
They opened a handicraft store at the grand bazaar in Urumqi, the regional capital of Xinjiang.
The family of five are now leading a comfortable life in the regional capital Urumqi.
