Xinjiang Jinghe-Alashankou Expressway Open to Traffic in Late October

Photos taken on Oct. 4, 2021 show the Jinghe-Alashankou Expressway after its completion of asphalt pavement, taken in Bole City, Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. After more than two years of construction, the Jinghe-Alashankou Expressway has been completed and is expected to be open to traffic by the end of October. The Jinghe-Alashankou Expressway construction was inaugurated in July 2019. It starts from G30 Lianyungang-Horgos Expressway and runs north through Jinghe County and Bole City in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, and ends at Alashankou City in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, spanning about 68.73 kilometers.
