Xinjiang Yumin: Common cranes frisk in the Kulusitai Grassland

In the golden autumn, the silence is relieved when many common cranes fly to the Kulusitai Grassland in Yumin County, Tacheng Prefecture, NW China’s Xinjiang.

In recent years, with the strengthening of returning farmland to grassland, ecological water transmission and maintenance of grassland, the ecological environment of the Kulusitai Grassland has been greatly improved. Every migration season, a large number of migratory birds arrive at the grassland and have a short break, then keep migrating. (Correspondents: Yang Huaguang, Song Danqing)
