White swans appear in Korla City, China's Xinjiang

On October 31, 2021, wild swans swim in the Peacock River in Korla City, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang.

Recently, with the gradual decline in temperature, the number of swans coming to Korla for wintering has gradually increased. They inhabit the two waters of the Dujuan River and the Peacock River. Wild swans swim and forage in the water, forming a harmonious ecological scene.

Today, Korla City has become a famous overwintering habitat for swans, where the climate is suitable and the water is clean. Wild swans have come to the "Pear City" for 16 consecutive years. (Correspondent: Cho Hura)
