(Tianshannet - Xinjiang Daily, Reporter Yang Wei): On the night of November 19, 2021, Shanshan County welcomes a snowfall, making Kumtag Desert in Shanshan County change from the scenery of golden sand to the scenery blending golden desert with white snow.

“The snow melted in urban area because of the high temperature, but Kumtag Desert remained to be dressed in sliver thanks to the low temperature in the desert, presenting a unique scenery .” said Sultan Wupur, the captain of Shanshan Blue Eagle emergency rescue team.
