Egrets foraging leisurely in the wetland with rich water resources and flourishing grass, cormorants and crested grebes playing, courting and breeding in the reeds...

This becomes a common sight in April at the Qianquan Lake National Wetland Park in Shawan City, Tacheng Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang. With its vast territory and lush water plants, it is an ideal place for migratory birds to supplement their food and rest.
