Waterbirds breed in the returning green period at the Bosten Lake in NW China’s Xinjiang

In early summer, bird breeding season arrives at the Bosten Lake wetland in Bohu County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang. Flocks of waterbirds flick in the green reed marshes and great cormorants frisk and forage on the vast shoals. The clear water, blue sky, reeds and various waterbirds form a beautiful natural ecological scene.
