Miaotaizi Village is located in a mountainous area with a cooler climate, and corn and wheat are the main crops there. In order to actively adjust the agricultural planting structure, according to the characteristics of soil and climate, a new variety of chestnut squash was introduced for the first time into the village, and 80 mu of forest land was interplanted. A good harvest of chestnut pumpkin was achieved through careful management and protection. The yield per mu reached 1.5 tons, and the income per mu was 6,000 yuan.

Recently, various towns and villages in Shawan City began to sow winter wheat one after another. It is learned that in 2022, Shawan City plans to plant 130,000 mu of winter wheat, and the planting work is expected to end by the end of October.
