The birds are gathering to migrate south in Kekesuli Wetland Park in Xinjiang

Kekesuli Wetland Park is located in Fuyun County, Altay Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang, and is one of the main scenic spots of Keketuohai National Geopark. Kekesuli Lake, also known as Wild Duck Lake, covers an area of 2,677 mu. The interlaced reeds in the lake form more than 20 large and small floating islands and are rich in aquatic plants.

From the end of September to the beginning of October every year, migratory birds inhabiting Kekesuli Wetland Park begin to migrate south in groups, and arrive at the wintering grounds in the south one after another from mid-October to early November. In recent years, the Kekesuli Mountain has become greener, the water is clearer, the sky is bluer, and a large number of migratory birds come to settle here every year.
