Interruption maintenance

Photo taken on October 4, 2022 shows the operation and maintenance staff of the ultra-high voltage branch of State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. cut off the power of equipment in converter station of Changji City, northwest China’s Xinjiang. On the same day, the annual comprehensive maintenance of Changji-Guquan ± 1100 kV UHV DC transmission project was carried out after the bipolar outage, and the maintenance task is expected to be completed on October 13, 2022. As of October 2, 2022, the ± 1100 kV converter station in Changji City has delivered 49.026 billion kilowatt hours of electricity to East China in 2022, and the cumulative delivered electricity has reached 172.25 billion kilowatt hours since it was put into operation in 2019.
