URUMQI, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) --Throat singing, also known as Khoomei, is a traditional art form of the Mongolian ethnic group. It was inscribed in UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage in 2019.
Batbayer Arzan, a Khoomei performer in China's Xinjiang has devoted himself to the Mongolian art of singing with support from the government.
