The ski resort in Zhaosu County is the first ski resort opened in Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. Ski runs and ice and snow recreation facilities are fully open. Baiyun International Ski Resort, located in Urumqi County, fully opened primary ski runs and middle-level ski suns last weekend. On December 11, 2022, the ski resort received more than 1,700 skiers. "In the past week, the number of skiers has obviously increased." Chen Liansheng, general manager of the ski resort, said that coaches were hard to find at the ski resort on that day. Tianshan Tuofeng Ski Resort launched a free skiing activity on December 10, 2022, attracting more than 700 skiing enthusiasts to come and experience. Zhang Yan, the general manager of the ski resort, said, “On the first day, the number of visitors reached half of its peak, which was a good start.
