Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Ma Yining) news: On March 6, 2023, flight CZ6011 of China Southern Air Holding Co., Ltd. loaded with 11 tons of clothing, electronics and other goods arrived in Almaty, Kazakhstan from Urumqi, northwest China’s Xinjiang. The international air export market in Xinjiang has gradually recovered since the resumption of international routes in December last year.

At present, multiple international passenger routes from Urumqi are mainly operated by China Southern Airlines. According to Xu Xu, a staff member of China Southern Air Logistics Holding Co., Ltd., after the resumption of international routes, the international air export market has shown significant growth, with the international exports via Urumqi having recovered up to 70% of what they were in 2019.

In order to deliver the goods better and faster to Almaty, Bishkek and other cities of countries along the Belt and Road, China Southern Air Logistics has launched international express, special and standard transport services from Urumqi to enrich its international product structure. On March 2, 2023, China Southern Air Logistics also secured the first batch of temperature-controlled vaccines for international transit in Xinjiang, carrying the medicines from Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province to the destination in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, within 48 hours.

As the summer and autumn flight seasons of 2023 approach, China Southern Air Logistics Xinjiang Branch will further optimize the allocation of resources to provide more detailed and thoughtful air logistics services for customers and promote the development of cross-border trade in Xinjiang.
