In early summer, the wild corn poppies in Emin County, northwest China’s Xinjiang are particularly bright against the green field, like red carpets embedded in the field.

Looking down from above at a distance, red and wild corn poppies rise and fall with the mountain ranges and surge in the wind like a lava.

Tourists come here, enjoy the flowers, take photos, and soak up the sun in the warm embrace of poppies with bursting smiles on their faces.
