On May 28, 2023, the Kalajun Grassland, which locates in the southern part of Tekes County of Ili Kazakh autonomous prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang and is about 30 kilometers away from the center of Tekes county as the crow flies, features a unique natural scenery composed of alpine meadows and grasslands, forests, snow-capped mountains, valleys, rivers and lakes, making visitors feel as if they are part of this picturesque scenery.
