Cherries in Kuqa City, NW China’s Xinjiang attract visitors to enjoy

Photos taken on June 1, 2023 shows the bright red and crystal-clear cherries are plump and mouth-watering in Tagqi Village of Wuzun Township, Kuqa City, Aksu Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and enjoy. It is learnt that in 2023, the city planted more than 300 acres of cherries, with an average income of about 10,000 yuan per mu. In recent years, Kuqa City has intensified the adjustment to the agricultural industry structure and actively created agricultural tourism industry that integrates tourism, entertainment and picking to increase agricultural efficiency and farmers’ income.
