Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Cai Zengle) news: In August, the passenger throughput of Urumqi Diwopu International Airport doubled compared to the same period last year, with a daily passenger throughput approaching 100,000 people and a cargo throughput exceeding 10,000 tons, reaching a total of 16,600 tons. These updated figures are changing people's lives quietly.

The development of "Air Silk Road" infrastructure is gradually improving, leading to a significant increase in both domestic and international flight volumes. Domestic and international routes are becoming more extensive, making it a vital air bridge link for connecting the east and west.

As of the end of August, the Urumqi Diwopu International Airport has provided services for over 110,000 takeoff and landing flights this year, with a cumulative passenger throughput of over 16 million people and a cumulative cargo volume of nearly 100,000 tons.
