Discover Xinjiang through Its Rivers and Lakes: An aerial view of Lalikun National Wetland Park in Moyu County, NW China’s Xinjiang-TIANSHANNET-天山网

Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Zhou Peng) news: Lalikun National Wetland Park is located in Yawa Township of Moyu County, Hotan Prefecture, and is locally known as the "Lake of Tulips". It is an ecological barrier in Moyu County and even in Hotan Prefecture. In December 2018, with the approval of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Lalikun National Wetland Park in the lower reaches of the Karakash River in Moyu County was designated as a national wetland park. In 2020, it was rated as a national 4A level scenic spot. The total planned area of the scenic spot is 978 hectares with five functional areas, namely wetland conservation area, wetland restoration and reconstruction area, publicity and exhibition area, reasonable utilization area, and management service area.
