Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Ren Jiang) news: On the afternoon of September 27, 2023, the women's beach volleyball final match of the 19th Asian Games was held in the Ningbo Banbianshan Beach Volleyball Centre. Xia Xinyi/Xue Chen of China triumphed 2-0 over Japan in the final match and won the gold. This match marks China's sixth consecutive women's beach volleyball championship at the Asian Games and the first gold medal won by Xinjiang athletes of the Chinese delegation at the Asian Games. As a girl from northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xia Xinyi has won three gold medals in women's beach volleyball in the past three Asian Games.
