Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter Xie Long) news: On October 10, 2023, in the modern carpet production workshop of Xinjiang Parlak Carpet Industry Co., Ltd., colorful polypropylene threads are interwoven into a net. One side of the threads connecting to the rack and the other side the new type of digital loom, and a piece of colorful carpet is produced and packaged according to the specifications and then shipped to places all over the world.

In 2018, Xinjiang Parlak Carpet Industry Co., Ltd. decided to establish a new production park in the Bainiaohu area of Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutunhe District), northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the new factory was put into operation the following year. Since the beginning of 2023, Xinjiang Parlak Carpet Industry Co., Ltd. has produced 360,000 square meters of carpet according to the orders, and is currently intensifying production of 160,000 square meters of carpet according to the orders received in the third quarter of this year. In response to the market demand of domestic customers and Central Asian countries, the company has ordered two new equipment this year, and the quality of their carpets is similar to that of handmade carpets, which makes their products more competitive.

At present, the phase II project of Xinjiang Parlak Carpet Industry Co., Ltd is also under construction, including a carpet exhibition center and a "carpet town", which is expected to be put into use in July next year.
"We will continue to give full play to our regional advantages and sell our products to Central Asia and the world along the route of Belt and Road Initiative," said Kerim Mamatniyaz, director of the Parlak Carpet Factory.
