Colorful view of Daqing River Valley in NW China’s Xinjiang

In autumn, the trees have been golden. In October, the autumn scenery of Daqing River Valley in Qinghe County, Altay Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is splendid and colorful. The river meanders through the forest, creating a unique natural picture.

In recent years, Qinghe County has continued to improve ecological governance. As of now, more than 40,000 mu of farmland has been converted to forests, more than 40,000 mu of artificial afforestation has been completed, 130 kilometers of green passages have been constructed, and more than 8,000 mu of bottom-land forests has been enclosed. The Daqing River, with its picturesque scenery throughout the year, is now being showcased to more tourists.
