Swans inhabit Korla City, NW China’s Xinjiang, in winter

In mid November, as the temperature continued to drop, the number of wild swans coming to Korla City in Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, for overwinter continued to increase. Currently, over 300 wild swans have overwintered in urban water areas such as the Kongque River and the Dujuan River. It is also the 18th consecutive year that wild swans have overwintered in Korla City.

They sometimes fly over the sky, sometimes swim in water, and sometimes chase and play with each other, which stands out against the blue sky and reeds, attracting many people to watch and take photos.
