Entering the “Doppa Alley” located in Resitan Street in Kuqa City, Aksu Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, one can see colourful Doppa (flower hats) hanging on both sides of the alley, colourful doors and windows, lanterns and curtains made of Atlas silk, as well as soda and CD players from the old time shops, as if traveling through a time tunnel!

Resitan Street is located in the old urban area of Kuqa City, which is one of the few existing old residential areas with ethnic characteristics. In recent years, with the vigorous development of the Qiuci brand and the efforts to build a demonstration area for the development of the cultural and tourism integration industry, the old urban areas have been moderately transformed according to their features, so as to integrate the original ecological and cultural atmosphere with the new times. Thus, "Doppa Alley" has become a new must-visit place in Kuqa City.
