The Xinjiang Uygur Muqam Art of China has developed four main regional styles, namely the Twelve Muqams, Dolan Muqam, Turpan Muqam and Hami Muqam. Each style possesses its own unique characteristics. The Twelve Muqam is renowned for its elegance, while Turpan Muqam radiates enthusiasm and humor. Hami Muqam, on the other hand, is characterized by its affectionate and vibrant nature, whereas Dolan Muqam is known for its vigorous and unrestrained qualities.
