Strengthen the safety of drinking water in rural areas

Xinjiang has strengthened the safety of drinking water in rural areas, and a large number of major water conservancy projects benefiting people's livelihood have been completed and brought into use. With the full opening of the urban and rural drinking water safety project in Payzawat County, Kashi Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 153,000 people in poverty have gained access to safe drinking water, and the health condition of local people has been improved.
