Photo shows 7.5 million kilowatt ultra-high voltage transmission line in Bachu County of Kashi Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. With the completion and operation of the 750 kV power extension and reinforcement project in southern Xinjiang, the full coverage of the 750 kV power grid in the four prefectures of southern Xinjiang — Hotan, Kashi, Aksu and Kizilsu Kirgiz, has been successfully achieved, promoting the development of tens of millions of kilowatts of photovoltaic new energy in southern Xinjiang, significantly improving the power supply guarantee capacity of the southern Xinjiang’s power grid, effectively assisting rural revitalization and improving people's livelihoods, and promoting high-quality development of the local economy.
